Review : Nice helmet for the price
I am not a helmet expert or anything. I have always wore half shells and decided I was going to be a little more safety conscious. I bought racing gloves, level 3 armor, and some new boots. The helmet was the next step but I had to be frugal. I looked up the safety ratings on the helmet and company and was pleasantly surprised. It scored very well. The helmet is not as heavy as some modulars I looked at and fit very well. The chin strap adjustment and quick buckle works well. The visor has a slide lever. I am not sure how long that mechanism will last but it may surprise me. The cheek padding is replaceable with more adequate pads if need and the venting works pretty well. 90+ temperatures are not bothering me. The clear visor is very clear and wraps nicely. The internal tinted visor annoys me. It does not go down far enough for my comfort. When looking down at my speedometer, I am seeing under the visor. It does work fine though. I believe, explains the few gripe on Nitro Modular Helmet (White, Medium) not fitting or leaking.
