My head measures 22.75" and a large is almost too big. Medium is uncomfortably tight without removing padding. Hope this helps for people who haven't owned HJC helmets.
Also noteworthy: If you order from LEATHERUPS, expect them to wait 5 days before they ship it. I'm curious as to why it takes so long, maybe they like to let the excitement build before delivery. If you're in a hurry, consider purchasing the helmet elsewhere.

I believe, explains the few gripe regards HJC Helmets CL-16 Helmet (Black, X-Large) not fitting or leaking.
